Unprecedented development showed BJP’s commitment towards J&K: Kavinder

JAMMU, Mar 20: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Central Government headed by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi stand fully committed for the development of Jammu and Kashmir. The unprecedented overall development of J&K witnessed today is the result of this sincere commitment of BJP led Government at the Centre for the progress and prosperity of this sensitive Union Territory and its people.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta while starting development work of laying of tiles at Matador Stand Channi Himmat, Jammu in Ward No. 51.
The development work was initiated with an estimated cost of Rs 45 lakh in presence of Chairman Public Health & Sanitation Committee JMC, Rajkumar Tarkhan, District President Vinay Kumar Gupta, Narinder Gupta Koki District Secretary Jammu and Jagdish Raj Proch Ward President.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) believes in ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas and Sabka Vishwas’ as a result of which the party has been progressing by leaps and bounds with each passing day. He said that it is the performance of the party and its government on ground especially in terms of development that speaks for itself.
He stated the he is very much impressed from Rajkumar Tarkhan for his dedication towards general public.
The senior BJP leader said that while the government stands committed to overall development of every area especially in Jammu and Kashmir it is necessary that people also ensure proactive participation by monitoring the works especially the quality of material used in the developmental works.
He also impressed upon the elected Corporators to display extraordinary activeness to ensure the overall development of their respective wards.
Referring to work started today, he said the execution of works has been initiated and it will be completed with no compromise on the quality of work so that people don't have to suffer in the future.
Chairman Rajkumar Tarkhan expressed gratitude to Kavinder Gupta for sparing his valuable for the cause of public and assured to serve the with great dedication in near future also. He also announced that many more works are in pipeline and the same would be carried out in a phased manner in Ward No.51 Channi Himmat of Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
