| PDD daily wager succumbs to burn injuries at SMHS hospital; yet another case of negligence | | |

SRINAGAR, Mar 22: Daily wagers of Power Development Department (PDD) continue to lose their lives while performing their duties in different parts of the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Yet another daily wager lost his life early in the morning today. The daily wager identified as Wasim Mir son of Ghulam Nabi Mir resident of Wahibugh-Kunzer in Baramulla sustained burn injuries while performing his duties at Batpora-Kunzer. He was immediately shifted to a local hospital where from he was referred to the SMHS hospital in Srinagar. The daily wager could not win the battle and succumbed to his burn injuries at the SMHS hospital today in the morning. Over the past few years many such incidents of negligence have come to the fore with scores of daily wagers getting killed in such incidents. |
