| Payments due to contractors credited to each other’s accounts in Doda | | |

JAMMU, Mar 22: A group of people who had carried out various development works under MGNREGA in the Ghaneka Panchayat in Doda district in December 2021 have alleged that the payment due to them has been credited in some other accounts and they have been left high and dry.
These people said the officials of the Rural Development Department (RDD) have told them their dues would be paid in 2023 and till then they would have to wait for the same.
These people demanded intervention from LG and said that the RDD officials of the Doda district should be directed to make the payment as early as possible. |
