JAMMU, Apr 16: A meeting of all J&K plus two Lecturer's forum was held under the chairmanship of R S Slathia and Presidentship of Pardeep Singh Rakwal. In the meeting core issues like ACP, creation of posts of Vice Principals in HSS, non-vocation status to the Principals, release of list of regularisation of pending subjects, provision of transfer policy in SRO 202 , repatriation of Lecturer's posted in hard zones, enhancement of grade pay in favour of Principals of plus two cadre, induction into KAS after completing 14 years of service, release of pay anomaly in favour of physical education Lecturers ,special incentives to M Phil, PhD and NET/SLET qualified Lecturers were discussed.
The forum expressed gratitude to B K Singh (Principal Secretary School Education Department) for implementing various steps to remove stagnation from the cadre. They hoped that their other pending genuine demands will be resolved soon.
