| No electricity irks Kahara-Doda residents | | |

JAMMU, Apr 16: Residents of Kahara village in Doda district today protested outside the office of Deputy Commissioner Doda against the non-availability of electricity in their village. The residents blamed the successive governments for the denial of electricity to the particular village.
The residents while giving vent to their anger said that ‘Digital India’ has no meaning and significance for them since they have been denied of a basic facility like electricity. They said that the people at helm have been giving mere assurances to them while doing nothing to ensure that power reaches Kahara village. |
