| SHO ignores court orders, mining mafia calls shots | | | Rajesh Tandon

Poonch, Apr 25: A Station House Officer in Poonch has allegedly not implemented the court orders that were issued to stop illegal mining in the area.
According to the details available with Early Times the SHO has ignored an order vide file number 123/Cr.Misl dated 01-04-2022 issued by Chief Judicial Magistrate Poonch.
“This has led to the mining mafia openly violating the norms in his jurisdiction,” said a source.
Residents said that the mining mafia is operating with impunity without any fear of law enforcing agencies. “We urge the higher ups to take a note and direct the concerned SHO to act against the goons who are out to vandalize the entire area,” residents said. |
