Health Centre Kachkoot functions from 2 rented rooms | We are ready to donate land, let Govt take initiative, say residents | | Early Times Report
Tral, Apr 25: A health centre at Kachkoot in this South Kashmir area is functioning from 2 rented rooms and is facing shortage of medical staff. Talking to Early Times residents said, “This health centre should be upgraded. We are ready to donate the land. The government should construct a new health centre and provide us with the facilities that we need.” They said, “This health centre is only used for providing first aid as no medicines are available here. We don’t have a doctor who can run this centre.” Residents urged the Lieutenant Governor to intervene and direct the concerned authorities to provide basic health care facilities to the people. |
