Kathua, Nov 25: Kathua Police conducted a one-day Awareness Programme as part of the Civic Action Programme under the theme "Police in Amrit Kall." The event aimed to enlighten school children and college students in the Border Sub-Division area of Kathua District. The program was inaugurated by SSP Kathua Sh. Shivdeep Singh Jamwal-JKPS, with the presence of DySP Hqrs. Kathua Sh. Manjeet Singh, DySP DAR Kathua Sh. Subash Chander, and SDPO Border Sh. Dheeraj Singh Katoch, along with other officers and officials. Approximately 30 students from various schools and colleges actively participated in the program, which commenced from District Police Line Kathua. The students received insights into the functioning of the Police department, its role, and day-to-day operations. The program also included visits to different establishments, including border areas, providing students with a firsthand experience of the police's work. SSP Kathua, Sh. Shivdeep Singh Jamwal, interacted with the students, offering encouragement and assurance of continued support in the future. Following the program, refreshments were provided to all participants. The students appreciated the efforts of Kathua Police and expressed their desire for similar awareness programs in the future. |
