SRINAGAR, Apr 7: A store of the J&K Estate department near Peoples’ Democratic Party office was damaged in fire on Monday morning, officials said.
They said the blaze originated in the Estates Department’s store, located behind the PDP office, and did not directly impact the building.
Fire and emergency services rushed to the spot and managed to bring the flames under control before they could spread further.
No injuries were reported in the incident, officials said. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
