NCP observes "Save Secularism and Democracy Day"

Jammu Aug 9: The state NCP today observed "Save Secularism and Democracy Day". Speaking on the occasion State president NCP and veteran leader former minister Thakur Randhir Singh said that the August revolution in 1942 was the last blow on British Imperialism in India . People belonging to all walks of life came out spontaneously on 9th August 1942 in thousands against the British govt forcing Britain to quit India many of them have sacrificed their lives in the struggle to free India from the clutches of British Imperialism .Singh further said now efforts are being raised by communal forces to impose communal authority in the country it is the duty of all the secular freedom loving people to resist the on slot on the socialist and secular democratic set up of the society as envisaged to the constitution of the country .
The chief spokesman and general secretary of the party R S Billowaria said that the today the national day being observed by the NCP and party flags in all the important places in the city have been hoisted.
R C Bali Chairman Sewa Dal NCP appealed to the people of J&K to observe 9th August as " Save secularism and Democracy day" in the state and have warned state leaders not to tweet to mislead the public mostly common people and those govt employees are working anti-India in social media should be nipped with strong hands.
Vikram Mahajan Chairman Entrepreneur cell NCP J&K state said that it is regrettable that people have almost forgotten the importance of 9th August 1942 the day final call of Quit India to the Britishers was given led by Mahatma Gandhi and many people like Netaji Subhash Chander Bose played a very significant role but unfortunately history has been distorted and very unfortunate that Shaheed E Azam Bhagat Singh and his close associates who starred the conscious of all Indians and forced Britishers to quit have been forgotten .
