Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 9: A minor is among the 14 J&K militants in NIA's list of most wanted terrorists and carries a bounty of Rs 10 lakh on his head. Though NIA has carried a series of raids at their residences and possible hideouts in Kashmir and Kishtwar areas, they have so far remained untraced, according to police sources. Ten of them included Junaid Akram Malik of Kishtwar, Khurshid Ahmad of Pahalgam, Farooq of Kulgam, Fayaz Ahmad of Kulgam, Nazir Ahmad of Sopore, Mubarak Shah of Sopore, Mohammad Maqbool Pandit of Pattan, Manzoor Ahmad Dar of Baramulla, Ghulam Nabi Khan of Pahalgam and Abdul Majid Sofi of Sopore. All of them were alleged to be involved in terror incidents not only in J&K but also in other parts of the country. The list also includes Pakistan-based HM's terror supremo Syed Salahuddin. NIA has so far handled two to three terror cases, including the one that had taken place near Udhampur some time back, in J&K. Those involved in these incidents were still at large, sources informed. Notices against them have also been issued by NIA in their respective districts. Some of them have Interpol's Red Corner notices issued against them. Junaid is the youngest of all of them and also has a Red Corner notice issued against him. Earlier in 2102, NIA had released a list of 10 most wanted militants and list Malik as one among them. |
