PDD JEs for implementing civil accounting system. 8/9/2016 10:27:50 PM Early Times Report Jammu Aug 9: General body meeting of Junior Engineers of Power Development Department was held at Rajinder Park, Canal Road today by Junior Engineers,PDD. In the meeting it was unanimously resolved that the civil accounting system should be implemented in toto immediately as heavy liabilities are getting created during the emergent restoration works conducted by feeder managers due to uncertainty prevailing in the department. The members had a detailed deliberations on the scheme of implementation of civil accounting system and have unanimously decided that all works whether new, routine maintenance, emergent be undertaken by all divisions through contractors with Annual maintenance contracts/work order/tenders as may be required. In this regard overall supervision of works shall be done by Sub Division incharge AEE and he shall be assisted by Section Incharge/feeder manager/JE as is already in vogue in PWD/PHE Departments. Moreover it was also vehemently discussed by all members that all material required for execution of works shall be issued to contractors directly from stores under the proper orders of executive engineer and no Junior Engineer/Feeder Manager shall lift the material. It was also resolved and impressed upon the authorities that all the liabilities which are on the account of Junior Engineers be cleared by concerned Executive Engineers at an earliest. The forum further informed that all Junior Engineers of PDD are united and any action against any of Junior Engineer on this pretext shall be fought with full might even at the cost of power distribution scenario which may worsen.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
