Udhampur, Aug 9: Udhampur Police today have arrested a bootlegger alongwith 55 pouches of illicit liquor which were recovered from his possession during anaka checking at Roun Domail of Udhampur district. "During the surprise checking at Roun Domail Udhampur, a police party from P/P Roun Domail led by SI Khyati Maan Khajuria intercepted a person namely as Rakesh Kumar son of Prem Nath of Tanal in Udhampur district, police spokesperson said." that during thorough search of belongings of suspect, police team recovered 55 pouches of illicit liquor, police said, adding, " the accused was arrested on the spot and also seized the consignment of illicit liquor." Accordingly a case this connection stands registered at Police Station Udhampur and further investigations are on.
