JP World School celebrates 'Van Mahotsav' 8/9/2016 11:29:35 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 9: JP World School, today celebrated Van Mahotsav in school premises in association with Municipal Corporation and Social Forestry Department, Jammu. Subah Mehta, Assistant Commissioner Revenue graced the occasion as chief guest while Priya from Somaya Group, Parmod and Ashwani Sudan - Revenue Officers were the special guests . The celebration commenced with the tree plantation by the chief guest and other dignitaries. Total 500 trees were planted by the students and staff of the school. During celebration different activities like skit, declamation, poster making etc. on the theme of environment and trees were also conducted. The chief guest Mehta inspired the students to aware their parents and people of their neighborhood to plant more and more trees. She said trees are our lifelines. She also applauded the efforts of the school being put up to save the environment. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by the Principal, Jitinder Singh Hundal in which he assured to extend the full support of JPWS to JMC for the grand success of the campaign and exhorted the students to plant at least one tree at a public place and take care of it.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
