Jammu, Aug 9: In its endeavor to enhance the speaking and debating skills of students, Delhi Public School organized 'Inter House Hindi Debate Competition' for Class VIII with the theme "Swatantrata Vicharo Aur Pahnave ki" in the school premises. The objective of the event was to sharpen critical thinking and analytical & communicative skills of the students. Total ten participants from five houses - Ganga, Tawi, Yamuna, Jhelum and Chenab participated enthusiastically and presented their views expressively. The first position was bagged by Laksh Gandotra- VIII E of Chenab House, Second position was won by Nyasa Dewidi VIII K of Yamuna Hou, Saujanya Raj VIII A, of Yamuna House, was ranked third in the competition, while Medhavi Tikku- VIII A and Shirin- VIII H were awarded with the consolation prizes in the event. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta lauded the confidence and critical thinking in students. Principal, Ruchi Chabra appreciated the zeal and enthusiasm displayed by the participants. |
