Srinagar, Aug 9: In a letter written to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh has requested Government to give relaxation in admission and examination cutoff date/deadlines for the students of Jammu & Kashmir. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that due to the unrest in the Kashmir Valley and unending curfew, students are forced to sit at their homes. On the one hand already existing students are unable to report back to their colleges inside or outside the valley while on the other hand new students are not able to approach the colleges for their admissions. Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh while speaking said that even in Aryans more than 1200 JK students are studying in various courses which is the highest number in the region which gives the reflection of Mini Kashmir. |
