| Heavy rush of pilgrims throngs to Chandi Matta temple | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Aug 13: Heavy rush of pilgrims is continuously being witnessed at Chandi Matta temple at Machail village of Padder Sub Division in mountainous Kishtwar District where the annual Machail yatra is underway since last few weeks.
"As many as 12775 pilgrims in last two days paid obeisance at the Chandi Matta temple situated at an altitude of over 13500 feet above sea level, sources said.
Sources told that keeping in view the heavy rush of the pilgrims, the district administration has made elaborate security arrangements and the heavy deployment has been put in place for smooth conduct of the yatra. |
