Kishtwar Police initiates process to nail Govt employees
Anti-India protests

Kishtwar, Aug 13: In order to prosecute the employees who took part in anti national rallies and protests; Kishtwar Police today initiated process to nail the government servants who had taken part in protest at Bus Stand Kishtwar last Friday (5-8-2016) in which anti India, pro-Pakistan, pro- freedom, pro-Hizb commander Burhan Wani slogans were raised by the protesters.
The official sources told the "Early Times", More than three dozen employees had been identified so far by various intelligence agencies," they said, "After identification of these employees, Kishtwar police had started process to take up the matter with the District administration as well as with the heads of the concerned department to take departmental action against these employees who defied the service conduct rules by participating in anti-India protest." The sources said that police would also register FIR against these erring employees and would ask the concern HoDs to stop their salaries with immediate effect.
The sources informed that police had also written to various HoDs directing them to ensure the presence of employees on duty; warning that in case employees found simultaneously present on attendance as well as in any such protests added that the action as warranted under law will be initiated against those HoDs. Meanwhile keeping in view of Independence Day function, Kishtwar police advised the schools, banks and business houses to remain on high alert.
As per the letter written by SSP Kishtwar to Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dy. SP HQ Kishtwar vide letter No. Dy.SP/Hqrs//2016/11089-91 dated 12-08-2016 said that keeping in view of the prevailing situation and forth coming Independence Day function, there is every apprehension of hoisting of objectionable flag/posters/wall writing etc anywhere in the educational institutions, banks and other government/private institutions of Sub Division Kishtwar which may hurt the sentiments of nationalist people, however extensive deployment has been made; yet it is not possible to cover each and every government and private establishment.
On the basis of the letter written by Dy. SP Headquarter Kishtwar, it has been impressed upon on all government and private institutions including banks to remain on high alert till culmination of Independence Day function by deputing Chowkidars or any other staff members to be briefed properly to keep vigil on such activities with the directions to brought the matter immediately into the notice of senior police officials or nearest police station so that action could be initiated against such elements.
