Locals demand filling up teaching staff in Panchari zone

Udhampur, Aug 20: Residents, parents and students of panchari block through a a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Udhampur have demanded early filling up of vacant posts i.e. 207 posts of teachers in Panchari Zone.
Through the memorandum submitted to Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Niraj Kumar the locals highlighted that there is shortages of the school staff in Zone Panchari 60 Master, 24 Lecturers, 123 Teachers in the Govt School falling under Panchari zone.
Highlighting their demands, locals resented that recently five masters of five Middle school namely Praye, Kothi Lehar, Gulaban,Thatli and Lali too have been transferred and it is too difficult to the students of the concerned institution without shortage of teachers."
Locals complained that transfers usually of teachers have not been done in winter zone till completion of session i.e. after December but the concerned educational authorities have adopted a new procedure to the transfer the during the mid of session which is creating mess in the education sector and also creating problems for students.
