In-charge system continues in forest Deptt

Jammu, Aug 20: Even as 'in-charge system' continues in forest department, a few junior officers, alleged to be the blue-eyed of seniors, have been awarded prize postings. 13 officers were transferred on August 13 last, but only three of them are range officers (ROs) while others are not confirmed rangers," sources alleged, adding that three foresters were made incharge ROs by the department.
The foresters, who have been placed as in-charge ROs, included Mohammad Iqbal (Basantgarh range), Munish Gupta (Thakerkote Range, Reasi) and Pankaj Khajuria (C P Lakhanpur).
The in-charge ROs, who have again been posted as in-charge ROs, included Ravi Kumar (TTO Bahu Range), Chuni Lal (Ramnagar South Range), Satish Kumar (Social Forestry Range, Udhmapur), Raj Singh (Control Room, Encroachment Cell, Jammu), Khalid Abass Munshi (Udhil Range, Marwah), Mohammad Munawar Bhat (Demarcation, Bhaderwah Division-II), Sameer Ahmad, Nissar Hussain (Gool Range, Mahore).
Sources said that in-charge system had ruined the department.
