Atleast 19 injured in four separate road mishaps

Udhampur, Aug 20: Atleast 19 persons were injured in four different road accidents reported from across the Udhampur District here today.
According to the police sources, a passenger bus bearing registration number JK02E-8539, the bus was on its way from Udhampur to Landher today morning slipped near Chubu nallah some three kilo miters away from Kainth Gali resulting injuries to the 10 persons.
Police and locals acting swiftly shifted the injured to District Hospital (DH) Udhampur for necessary medicare. "The injured have been identified as Police H/C Abdul Majid (41) s/o Gulam Ahmed of Surankot, Anu Kumari (21) w/o Rakesh Kumar of Meer, Madhu Devi (24) w/o Mohinder Kumar of Meer, Kaka Ram @ Radhay Sham (56) s/o Hari Sharn of Meer, Kiker Singh (60) s/o Tirth Chand of Meer, Anjana Devi (27) w/o Madhan Lal of Kultyar, Geeta Devi (36) w/o Rattan Singh of Meer, sources said, adding that while three injured have been hospitalized at Primary Health Center (PHC) Pancheri namely Pooja Devi (25) w/o Mohinder of Pangara, Archna Devi (28) w/o Madan Lal of Kultyar and Taneya Devi (21) d/o Tirlok Chand of Kanthgali. Panchari. Meanwhile police registered the case and investigation starts.
Soon after the mishap the locals protested against the PWD Department worst condition of the road and ARTO Udhampur for allowing old buses to ply on this route and making precious human lives prone to risks.
Meanwhile in another road accident, a CRPF bus bearing registration number JK02AF-3037, on its way from Kashmir to Jammu met with accident near Toldi Nallha National Highway. Police and CRPF Jawans immediately shifted the injured to District Hospital (DH) Udhampur.
The injured have been identified as Kevender Kumar 75, CRPF Company, Mahinder Ram 144, CRPF Company and Nasir Khan 84 CRPF Company who later were referred to Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu owing to the critical injuries.
Yet in another road accident a Tanker bearing registration number JK02AC-9345, on its way from Udhampur to Leh met with accident near Toldi Nallha National Highway resulting injuries to three persons namely Jewan Kumar (24) s/o Prithavi Raj of Patni Top, Lok Nath (24) s/o Shonku Ram of Kud and Pritam Chand (20) s/o Chounku Lal of Madha. Doctors treating injured later referred Jewan Kumar to GMC&H Jammu.
Yet in another road mishap a Santro car bearing registration number JK19-3888, met with accident near Gari National Highway skids of the road resulting injuries to three occupants of vehicle namely Malyan Singh (26) s/o Vikram Singh, Vikram Singh (52) s/o Bharat Singh and Shakti Devi (46) wife of Vikram Singh all of Ramban who were shifted nearby DH Udhampur.
