Tiranga Yatra under "Yaad Karo Kurbani' taken out

Bhaderwah, Aug 20: As part of 'Yaad Karo Kurbani' programme, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) District Doda unit organised 'Tiranga Yatra' in Bhaderwah here today.
The Yatra was led by District President BJP Advocate Manjeet Razdan in which a large number of party workers marched from Lakshmi Narayan Chowk and passed through various areas and markets , culminated in the premises of historical Seri Bazaar Bhaderwah.
While speaking on the occasion District President BJP Advocate Manjeet Razdan said that the focus of "Tiranga Yatra" is a part of the celebration of the 70th Independence Day and to pay tributes to all those martyrs who laid down their lives during the national struggle for independence from foreign rule.
"All the programmes to mark occasion of 70th Independence Day and are spread over many days have special significance so that the people fully appreciate and become aware of the national history.' He further said that we have to guard against divisive and fractious forces in the country so that the country does not get deviated from the path of progress.
Exhorting the cadre to work dedicatedly, Razdan said, "We must persist with our efforts to realise the dream of Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India."
While paying homage to martyrs, he said that country is free and secure due to supreme sacrifice made by our brave Jawans. Razdan and other speakers urged for not forgetting sacrifices made by martyrs.
Among others who addressed the gathering included Raj Singh Charak , Koshal Kotwal, Raj Singh Kotwal, Narinder Singh Kotwal, Sanjay Saraf, Ankit Gupta and Bipan Sharma.
