Early Times Report
Rajouri, Nov 21: Expressing concern over the undue delay in releasing the selection list for the Class-IV posts in the various government departments, aggrieved aspirants resented that many candidates who have applied for these posts have become now over aged as the State government even after a gap of more than 7 years has not declared the list for the 75 class IV posts advertised against a notification in the year 2006 and interviews process was completed in the year 2009.
The anguished aspirants today demanded that the final selection list for the aforesaid posts should be released soon and also questioned why the list was not declared till date.
Irked over the non-relenting authorities, the aspirants said that after inviting applications for the Class IV posts in 2006, the authorities went into hibernation till date.
Recalling from past they said, "With reference to General Administration Department (GAD) order No.12-GAD of 2006, an advertisement notice No1 of 2001 dt 23'3'2006 was appeared in the newspapers for the filling of 75 posts of class IV in Education, Agriculture, Finance, Forest, R&B and Animal &Sheep husbandry departments."
Recently candidates (unemployed and over aged) from Nowshera tehsil led by social activist and vice president, All J&K Handicapped Welfare Association (AJKHWA) have submitted a memorandum to Ch Zulfkar, Minister for FCS&CA, and requested him to intervene in this matter.
Hundreds of unemployed youth of the district had applied for these posts while after a gap of more than three years the interviews were conducted at various places and the process was completed in the year 2009.
"Since then, successive State governments have failed to release the lists of the selected candidates for the reasons best known to the higher authorities. Many candidates have become over aged and many among them are still un-employed and may also get over aged," said one Vinod Sharma.
He added that the government should release the list without any further delay.
These unemployed and over aged candidates have appealed to Ch Zulfkar to intervene in this matter and take up the matter with the higher authorities so that the deserving candidates can get government job.
