| MLA fails to streamline basic facilities, water pumps lying defunct for Years | | |  M S Nazki

Poonch, Nov 26: National Conference and its legislator members make tall claims that their ultimate aim to bring respite for people and to usher a new era of development across the country and in state also but all such claims have fallen flat also people suffer for basic facilities. In such a glaring example, local N C MLA Mendhar has failed to get water pumps functional which is lying defunct for months together. Dharana Welfare community and locals from upper and Lower Dharana of Mendhar lamented that only water pumps in their area got defunct some years ago but despite of several deputations and representations to MLA Mendhar Javid Rana things have not changed till date. Javid Ahmed and others said these water pumps in Dharana Upper And Lower of the Mendhar catered the needs of thousands people . In Dharana village they have to fetch water from other areas since it got went dysfunctional due to some technical snag.
They lamented that people of area have approached MLA Mendhar and concerned department but they are waiting for response as they received nothing but assurance only
Highlighting the problems of locals and problems of passengers, schools child Zabir Ahmed said, "This well should be repaired on priority basis thus both MLA mendhar /concerned officers ought to voluntarily come forward to redress the genuine problem of people and daily commuters." |
