JAMMU, Mar 30: Already shamed for the incident of religious coercion of a village head for electoral gains, involving a sitting Minister of the Omar Government, NC attempted yet another below the belt hit at the opponent PDP when its workers replaced PDP flags with the NC flags overnight at Khanpur Nagrota, where PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was scheduled to address a public rally today.
According to a senior PDP leader, his workers had erected party flags around the venue of the party rally at Khanpur some days back but after this National Conference Minister and his workers come to know that PDP's Chief Patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed will address a rally from the same venue on March 30, he sent some party workers who not only replaced the flags of PDP with NC but also coerced the poor populace to stay away from the scheduled rally of PDP.
Another PDP leader accused NC of snaping water supply to the venue of PDP rally and unwanted frisking of the PDP workers on the arterial links associated with the old National Highway to curb their entry into Khanpur. |
