Bali emphasizes on female education to bring positive changes in society 2/3/2015 10:46:23 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 3 : Emphasizing on the need of imparting quality education to the females, General Secretary of the state unit of BJP, Bali Bhagat today said that education should be used as a mean to bring positive changes in the society. Addressing annual day function of HSS Evergreen School, Lower Roop Nagar, Bhagat maintained that there should be no disparity between males and females in imparting education. "There is a need to rather give more importance to females as far as education is concerned", Bhagat, who was chief guest in the function, said and an educated female contribute more in bringing positive changes in the society as compared to a male. Pointing towards nationwide Beti Bachao- BetiPadao campaign launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, newly elected MLA from Raipur-Domana, Bali Bhagat said that this revolutionary campaign has been launched to remove disparity among males and females. Informing people that very soon a democratic government would be established in Jammu and Kashmir, Bali Bhagat assured that new government would formulate a comprehensive policy to ensure that quality education should be available to every section of the society. He said that education will be focused area of new government because education was the vital sector for bringing positive change in the society. Appreciating management of the HSS Evergreen School for providing quality education to the people, Bali Bhagat asked management of the institution to give special emphasis on female education. Bali Bhagat also distributed prizes among meritorious students and also among those who excelled in different fields including sports and other literary activities. Addressing Trimurti Shiv Jyanti function organized by Brahamkumaris at Bantalab, Bali Bhagat emphasized on brotherhood and communal harmony. He said that every religion spread message of peace, tranquility and brotherhood. Throwing lights on characteristics of Hindu religion, he said that Hinduism is not a religion but a way of life.
