JAMMU, Feb 3: J&K Team of Karate Association bagged 20 medals in the International Karate Championship 2015 held at Sujanpur Pathankot. The championship was organized by International Goju Ryu Karate Organization. The J&K team participated in the competition under the supervision of Anil Nanda Chief Technical Director, Karate Association. While Ronika Rathore accompanied the team as Girls Coach and Anik Pal Singh as Team Manager.
Gold medals: Atin Sandeep Wazir (G.D. Goenka), Dhairya Gupta (Roots Montessorie), Prajin Chopra (Heritage School) Soham Kalsotra (Jodhamal School), Harsh Vardhan Billoria (K.C International) , Kashish Pandita (Aglow Kids).
Silver medals: Shouria Verdhan Billowria (K.C Public School), Shub Kumar (St. Peter School), Dhruv Mahajan (Roots Montessore), Kabeer Khullar, Sarthak Gupta (Heritage School)
Bronze medals: Rehan Gupta (DPS), Bhavya Dutta (Kidzee School), Gaurik Khullar, Jagteshwar Pal Singh, Sidh Mahajan (Heritage School), Rachit Gupta (Roots Montessore), Adit Sharma (Heritage School), Mukul Palma Ganesh (Army Public School) and Ayush Abhijeet Sonawane (Jodhamal School). |
