Jammu, Feb 3: Jammu Youth Forum (JYF) on Tuesday staged protest demonstration in the front of University to express dissatisfaction over the functioning of the Jammu University.
The protesting led by Mohammad Akram Ahmed President JYF, activitists were raised slogans against the Governor for not taking note of their demands and maintaining stoic silence over the whole affair.
Addressing the gathering, President JYF Mohammad Akram Ahmed said that in 2013, a student was caught copying in DDE along with a book and suspended for two years.
A contractual lecturer Dr. Narseema and Professor Darshana Sharma were on duty and in front of duo, the accused was copying, then programme coordinator M. Ed DDE was removed from the post by JU administration, but Prof RD Sharma few days after he took over as acting VC reinstated the tainted Professor even as services of contractual Lecturer Dr Nasreen whose name figured in the same case were terminated.
They appealed Chancellor of University, NN Vohra to direct action against Vice Chancellor of JU without any further delay; otherwise they would be forced to start agitation in front of Governor House.
Among those who were presented in the protest included Rahil Malik, Tarvej Ahmed, Mohammad Aamer, Salim, Amit Kumar, Sanjay Singh, Shoal, Ashif Amhed, Amit Sharma, and others. |
