Jammu, Feb 3: Jammu and Kashmir People Democratic Trade Union (PDTU) urged the leadership of PDP-BJP combine to form the government in the state at an earliest which will dispense a stable, good-governance, corruption-free, transparent and employees' friendly government. A meeting organised by district president, PDTU Jasmeet Singh Madaan and he said that all the participating members were unanimous about the formation of PDP-BJP government and decided to urge the leadership of both parties to arrive at a 'Common Minimum Programme' immediately and form the government so that the aspirations of public particularly employees be met immediately. "It is an open truth that the state is passing through a very difficult economic situation, employees are waiting for 17% DA due to them, increase in Medical Allowance and others but the state coffers are empty and even the GP fund withdrawal bills are pending in treasuries since long," he stated and adding at at this crucial juncture the people particularly employees are looking forward for a popular government combination of PDP- BJP combine and it is notable that every employees' association want that the PDP- BJP combine should come forward with open mind and heart and take the command to form the government so that the issues like shattered economy, corruption, unemployment, development, employees, pensioners be redressed expeditiously for which the people have cast their votes in their favour. There is no denying fact that the three years tenure of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as Chief-Minister was the best- ever tenure in the history of J&K when the trade, industry, infrastructure, employment, transparency and above all corruption free period gets a major momentum, he said. He further said that the people of state wants that 'History should repeat itself' and Mufti Mohd Sayeed should take over the cudgels in his hand once again, wishes people particularly employees. |
