Jammu, May 4 : Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing was organized nurses' week celebration from May to 12, 2015. This is celebrated in memory of Florence Nightingale for her lasting contribution and role in founding the modern nursing profession.
According to press release, Florence Nightingale set an example of compassion, commitment to patient care and diligent and thoughtful hospital administration. It comprises of cultural competitions, indoor and outdoor Sports competitions and other activities. The event was officially flagged off by Johny Kutty Joseph, Vice Principal of the college.
The first day of the event the following events such as Bouquet Making, Rangoli, Essay writing, Hair Style making for boys and girls, Pot Painting and water colour painting competitions were conducted. The students participated with much enthusiasm and interest. |
