CWS celebrates Buddha Purnima | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 4: On the occasion of Buddha Purnima Childrens Welfare Society (CWS) today organized a function at Leprosy Ashram Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. According to press release, speaking on the occasion Gurdeep Singh Sasan Senior Leader J&K National Conference and Chairman of the Society urged the People to come forward and share their booty with hapless and deprived people of the society. He said that our great Guru's and Saints have made it mandatory to spare 10% of our income for poor and downtrodden people and for other welfare purpose. Sasan extended greeting to the people on Buddha Purnima and urged them to follows the teachings of Mahatama Gautam Buddha. Sasan castigated the government for its failure to come to the rescue of these people and improve their living conditions and to provide Basic Medical Facilities. He reminded the government the and Social Welfare Department that it is their duty to take care of these people so that they can spent their life in neat and peaceful atmosphere. He urged the government to enhance the financial aid being provided to these institutions, so that these institutions could run smoothly. He also appealed to the Jammuites to adopt at least one child for education purpose. He also urged the Govt. to provide Rs. 1000/- per month as financial help to poor families who have two daughters and are not in a position to educate them. Sasan also urged the Govt. to give benefit of reservation to the children of these institutions. |
