Jammu, May 4: The annual general meeting (AGM) of Parivartan, NGO was held here today. The meeting was chaired by minister for PHE Sukhnandan Kumar, who was the chief guest on the occasion, while chief Bureau head of Dainik Bhaskar newspaper, Udhay Bhaskar was the guest of honour. During the meeting, Chairman of Parivartan, Vikas Sharma give a detail about the objectives of their NGO and the future plans and programmes which would be organised by the NGO in current financial year were also discussed with the Chief Guest and Minister Sukhnandan Kumar. Speaking on the occasion, the minister for PHE, Sukhnandan Kumar appreciated the works done by the NGO regarding the welfare of poor and needy people by organizing free medical camps in the far flung areas of the state, during which the poor and needy children as well as the people were provided free medical treatment and free medicines by the specialist doctors, who attended the camps for the welfare of people. The chairman, Parivartan, Vikas Sharma also assured that their NGO would continue to provide their services to the people by organising more camps in near future so that the people in the far flung areas would get the best treatment at their door steps. He further expressed gratitude to the chief bureau Dainik Bhaskar, Udhay Bhaskar for devoting their previous time for participating in the AGM of the NGO. He also expressed his desire to join the NGO as a member. Among others who were present in the meeting included Rajinder Singh (President), Vishal Targotra(Treasurer), Udhay Bhaskar(Vice-president), Vijay Sharma (Vice-president), Sahil Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Ashish Kapoor, Mukesh Oberaio, Joginder and Naresh. |
