Chopped body of missing Paramedical student recovered, couple arrested | 'Failure to force her into flesh trade reason behind gruesome killing' | | Sumit Sharma Early Times Report JAMMU, May 4: Notorious for their involvement in the immoral trafficking and booked by Bakshi Nagar police in 2010, the accused couple has once again been arrested for kidnapping and murdering a paramedical student. The couple allegedly kidnapped a paramedical trainee girl, illegally confined her to force her into flesh trade and later chopped her body into six pieces. The accused couple has been identified as Sunil Kumar son of Gyanu Kumar resident of Chinore and his wife Rajni Devi. They have been booked under FIR No 105/2015 under section 302, 364 of RPC at Police Station Gandhi Nagar. SSP Jammu Uttam Chand giving information said that Gandhi Nagar police today recovered the chopped body of a murdered Paramedical trainee girl who went missing mysteriously on April 19, and arrested a couple in this regard. He said that on April 19, one Vaishno Devi wife of Sher Singh Jaral of Sewna Chenani, District Udhampur approached Police Station Gandhi Nagar with the complaint that her daughter namely Shivani Jaral (23) is missing since 12-03-2015 from her rented accommodation at Sanjay Nagar; accordingly missing report was lodged and alert was sounded. Later, on 02-05-2015 the mother of victim girl gave a written application in Police Station Gandhi Nagar stating involvement of Sunil Kumar S/O Gyanu Kumar R/O Chinore and his wife Rajni Devi in the kidnapping and illegal confinement of her daughter. Police said that a case under FIR No 105/2015 under section 364 of RPC was registered and a police party headed by SHO Police Station Gandhi Nagar, Inspector Paramjit Singh under the supervision of SDPO City South Sachin Gupta, SP City South, Udaya Bhaskar Billa and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand raided the house and arrested the accused husband and Wife. After thorough and in-depth questioning of the accused persons, they deposed that they killed the girl, chopped her body into pieces and dumped her body in septic tank of their rented accommodation at Muthi, which they have hired despite having another rented accommodation at Chinore in which they are residing presently. Police Party immediately rushed to the spot and in the presence of FSL Team and Magistrate, recovered the dead body. Offence under section 302 of RPC has been inserted in the case and further investigation will reveal the intention & motive behind the brutal murder. Pertinently, the accused husband and wife were earlier also involved in immoral trafficking in 2010 at Bakshi Nagar police station. On that occasion,police arrested six persons including 4 women for running brothel house in Patoli Magortian. They were Dr Inder Prakash Wazir son of NL Wazir, a resident of Qila Mohalla, Bhaderwah, presently putting up at Roop Nagar and Khurshid Ahmed son of Noor Ahmed, a resident of Basohli, Kathua. Wazir was a retired veterinary surgeon. Rajni Devi wife of Sunil Kumar R/o 205, Patoli Mangotrian, formerly a resident of Basohli, who had converted herself and married a carpenter, Anju Sharma alias Suhani wife of Vicky Sharma R/o Housing Colony, Janipura, Suresha Kumari wife of Pritam Kumar R/o Shant Nagar, Janipura and Luxmi Devi alias Pinky wife of Omkar R/o Bhaderwah, presently putting up at Patoli. Rajni Devi was kingpin of the racket and claimed to be working as a helper in ICDS project. She had put up a board of ICDS Project office in her house to mislead the local people and police. |
