Sethi chairs BJYM meet

JAMMU, May 4 : Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi along with State Convenor, Freedom Fighter Cell Bharat Bhushan Sharma conducted a meeting of the Yuva Morcha and discussed future activities of the morcha, here. According to press release, stressing on need to generate awareness about patriotic heroes of the country, Yudhvir said nation can never forget the contributions of those historical personalities who fought against the oppressions and gave their lives for the honour of their home land.Specific programs would be launched to make people at large and youth in particular conscious about sacrifices made by great warriors of the country. "BJYM is dedicated to the cause of channelizing youth energy towards nation building and it is my clarion call to all cadres of the Morcha to intensify their efforts to involve youth in building a society based on traditions, beliefs and a strong value system," he added.He said the younger generation has a greater role in nation building and Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) is working towards engaging, empowering and involving the youth towards building a progressive India. Addressing the meeting, General Secretary Ajay Pargal said the Morcha has to ensure that policies and programs formulated by the BJP are being implemented in true letter and spirit. He said it is prime responsibility of the cadres to make people aware of different pro-people initiatives taken by the party both at state as well as centre level. He called upon members of the Morcha to celebrate upcoming birthday of great warrior of Mewar Maharana Partap which falls on 9th of May. He said the event should be celebrated with pomp and show at all levels in the state so as to make people aware about heroes of our country. The meeting also decided to celebrate remembrance days of those who have contributed for cause of the nation and have kept their head high against the oppressive rulers from time to time.
