| AJKSGRDS celebrates Buddha Purnima | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 4: In connection with the celebrations of Buddha Purnima and the birth anniversary of Baba Sahib Bhim Rao Ambedkar a grand programme was organized by All J&K Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha (AJKSGRDS) at Guru Ravi Dass Complex at Krishna Nagar. According to press release, the programme was organised under the supervision of President of the Sabha, Piran Ditta, M.L.Banahalia and Raj Kumar Raja wherein Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Pawan Kotwal was chief guest and B R Kundal Former Chief Secretary was guest of Honour. The guests were received by the president of the Sabha Piran Ditta with much fan fare at Vanue site.
Pawan Kotwal while speaking on the occasion put light on the life of Mahatma Budha and B.R Ambedkar and said that the time has come where teachings of these great personalities are required to be adopted in real life so that India may emerge as nation irrespective of caste ,creed, religion and all the people unitedly as force work for the welfare, development and prosperity of the nation. Kundal also spoke about the teaching of both these personalities in detail and said that both these personalities worked for the up gradation of the down trodden of the society and their teachings needs to be taught to each & every section of the society.
Piran Ditta president of the Sabha while thanking the Chief Guest for sparing his valuable time for the Sabha & attending this programme. He further thanked Divisional Commissioner for conducting the free and fair elections of the Sabha.Prominent among other who were present and spoke on the occasion include Raj Kumar Raja, M.L.Banahalia, Dr. Sanjay Bhasin,Principal Degree College Ramban Yudhvir Singh,Master Tara Chand,Om Parkash Dhingra etc. |
