Jammu, May 4: In an initiative to provide common assistance to the residents of Ambphalla and people passing through the area, BJP MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated the work of Municipal Toilet near Dental College, Ambphalla Chowk. According to press release, the project of the toilet is estimated at a cost of Rs 4.50 lakhs which will be completed under the supervision of JMC's (Jammu Municipal Corporation) in CDP (Constituency Development Plan). Addressing the gathering, Sharma said that with the construction of this toilet in the area there will be relief to the people not only belonging to the area but also to the people who are passing by the route. He said it was a long pending demand and it will be completed in a stipulated period of time so that people could use the services of the Toilet. Lauding the role of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), the MLA said that the Corporation was making best possible efforts to maintain cleanliness in the city of temples and keep the lanes, drains in various localities in good condition. He called upon the people to protect public property in their respective areas, adding that these assets are meant for their convenience and need to be protected.
