JKESLEC criticizes Central Government for delaying one rank one pension | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 25: Members of the J&K Ex-Services League Executive Committee (JKESLEC) showed concern about the delaying in the implementation of 'One Rank One Pension' promised by Government of India. According to press release, JKESLEC President Maj Gen Goverdhan Singh Jamwal informed the members about the grand rally held at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on 14 June 2015 where over 50,000 Ex-Servicemen from all over India including Veterans of J&K participated where a continuous chain hunger strike will continue till 15 July 2015 where after if the Govt. do not announce 'One Rank One Pension'. He further informed that the next decision will be taken to hold a similar rally in Patna. Many other State including J&K are presently sitting on chain hunger strike. The President hailed Chander Parkash, Minister for Industries and Commerce and Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University Jammu for paying homage to Brig Rajinder Singh on his birth anniversary celebrations on 14 June 2015 at Brig Rajinder Singh Memorial at Rajinderpura, District Samba which was organized by the Brig Rajinder Singh Memorial Committee supported by the DC Samba, Sheetal Nanda who had made excellent arrangements. |
