Rajouri, June 25: "New Ashirwad Hotel, Banquet and Resort' was inaugurated in Rajouri during a grand event held on yesterday evening in which Minister for Consumers Affairs and Public Distribution and Tribal Affairs was present as chief guest.
The first function of the hotel was an Iftar Party organised by Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
As per a press note, a culturally rich opening ceremony of 'New Ashirwad Hotel, Banquet and Resort' was held yesterday evening in the premises of hotel in which Minister for CAPD and Tribal Affairs, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali while a large number of other prominent personalities were present in it who include MLA Rajouri, Ch Qamar Hussain, MLC Vibodh Gupta, DC Deepti Uppal, SSP Dr. Hasseb Mughal and others.
While addressing the opening ceremony, Minister for CAPD and Tribal Affairs, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali said that state government is making all efforts for making Rajouri as a hub of tourism and for the same, its very important that tourists who visit the are get proper accommodation and fooding. He added that alone state government cannot fulfil this requirement and private hotels play the much important role in it and with the opening of New Ashirwad Hotel, the private tourism infrastructure of the district will receive a major pace. |
