KCC, SCC share victories in ongoing Chevrolet Cricket cup 6/26/2015 11:37:35 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 26 : Khalsa Cricket Club and Shastri Cricket Club, today shared victories in the matches played on the second day of the ongoing Chevrolet Cricket Cup 2015 tournament sponsored by KC Motors Jammu at KC Public School Cricket ground. The first match of the day was played between JKP Cricket Club and Khalsa Cricket Club where JKP Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bat first and put up a score of 143 runs in 20 overs. Nipun Verma and Pankaj Singh scored 68 and 23 runs respectively while Amarpreet took 3 wickets and Abhishek took 2 wickets. In reply, KCC chased the target of 143 in 19 overs and won the match. Romey scored 38 runs for his side and Harpreet made 31 runs while Shamsher and Ambrose took 2 wickets each. KCC won the match by 3 wickets wherein Amarpreet of KCC was declared 'Man of the Match'. Deepak, Abhijot Singh Bedi and Dilaber Singh were the officials of the match. The second match of the day was played between Shastri Cricket Club and Kamal Trader Cricket Club where Kamal Trader Cricket Club won the toss and put up a score of 102 runs in 19.2 overs. Navdeep Singh and Jagjot scored 25 and 19 runs respectively while Vishal Singh and Amit Sharma took 3 and 2 wickets . In reply, Shastri Cricket Club chased the target with Bunty at 20 and Romy at 17 runs for the team. Jagjot Singh and Sushant took 2 wickets each and Shastri Cricket Club won the match by 3 Wickets. Vishal Singh of Shastri Cricket Club was declared 'Man of the Match'. Rajinder Singh, Sadiq Hussain Malik and Honney singh were the officials of the match. Westside Coupons worth Rs.500/- were presented to the winners of 'Man of the Match' title.
