PDP leaders visit border villages, listen locals' grievances | | | Early Times Report
Hiranagar, June 27: A group of People's Democratic Party (PDP) leaders led by Deepak Raina today visited border areas of Hiranagar sector and listened to the grievances of victims of cross border firing. People put out several grievances and expressed resentment against Pakistani rangers, PDD, PWD and PHE department. Delegation of locals from Marheen under the leadership of Sham Lal apprised the PDP Leaders that no permanent step have been taken by union or state government till date. The delegation demanded land as per assurance given by politicians during election campaign in safe place. Locals also demanded road connectivity and better medical facilities in the Tehsil Marheen. Deepak Raina and others PDP leaders listened their grievances patiently and assured to take up their demands to Chief Minister of J&K for redressal |
