RSS's veiled warning to BJP against bartering Jammu's interests | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 27: Leadership of Rashtriya Syamsevak Sangh (RSS)-the ideological fountain head of BJP, is hesitating to openly criticise style of functioning of BJP minister but the organisation using every platform to giving warning to party ministers against their "mis-deeds and mis-conduct". RSS leadership appears to be not happy with the style of functioning of BJP ministers but Sangh wants to give some more time to them to mend their ways so Sangh avoiding open criticism of these ministers. Today during concluding function of the 20 days training camp of RSS workers at Ved Mandir complex this evening, senior RSS functionary Madhu Bhai Kulkarni, who is national executive committee members of RSS, reminded the gathering about 2008 Amarnath land agitation to give a veiled warning to BJP ministers. Madhu Bhai Kulkarni recalled that 2008 agitation was historic in the sense that people of Jammu had shown their strength to counter Kashmir based parties and other anti-national forces. He said that 2008 stir was historic for strengthening national integration. While mentioning 2008 agitation, Kulkarni has given a veiled warning to BJP ministers that people of Jammu would not tolerate any injustice with them. His message was very much clear that any injustice with Jammu region would be opposed tooth and nail and RSS would only side with nationalist forces instead of supporting BJP. Today's speech of Madhu Bhai Kulkarni was a warning signal to the BJP leadership in Jammu because there is feeling among nationalist forces that the party has surrendered its nationalist agenda just to enjoy power. Some senior functionaries of RSS or affiliated organisations are already associated with the AIIMS Coordination Committee which is spearheading agitation against shifting of AIIMS to Kashmir Valley from Jammu. Now today's speech during conclusion of training camp, is really a red corner notice for BJP. |
