Advisory: Release of water from Dulhasti Power Station 6/27/2015 11:50:32 PM RAMBAN, June 27: The Dul Hasti Power Station has asked the people living near the banks of river Chenab not to venture along the banks of river on June 28 from 00.30 hours to 18.30 hours in view of periodical silt flushing of the dam. As per an advisory issued by the DHPS, management, for conducting the statutory periodical silt flushing from the reservoir of Dul Hasti Power Station, the gates of Dam shall be opened on 28-06-2015 from 00.30 hrs to 18.30 hrs which may result in the rise of 2 to 3 meters water level of river Chenab. "All the inhabitants who live near the banks of river Chenab in Ramban district are therefore requested not to venture along the banks of river Chenab in order to avoid loss of life and animals".   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
