Dr Vishawamurti Shastri awarded with Bharat Excellence Award 6/29/2015 10:34:52 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 29: Former Election Commissioner of India presented Dr ((Prof) Vishawamurti Shastri, former Principal Rashtryia Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University) of Jammu and Kashmir with "Bharat Excellence Award" on Sunday evening in a function organized by Friendship Forum at India International Center at New Delhi. In an impressive award presentation ceremony former Election Commissioner G V C Krishanmurthy honored (Prof.) Dr Vishwamurti Shastri of Jammu and Kashmir for his contribution in the field of conservation and spreading Sanskrit language in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Friendship Forum honored about dozen persons from all over India for their outstanding services in various fields and seminar in "Economic Growth and National Unity" (Prof.) Dr Vishawmurti Shastri was selected for his contribution in the field of Sanskrit in Jammu and Kashmir State. In his thanks giving speech (Prof) Dr Vishwamurti expressed his desire to make Jammu and Kashmir state as the epic center for the learning and spreading Sanskrit. He claimed that the ancient language on earth, would give window for learning for present generation from well researched way for living of past, which would help in building excellent societies in the country.
