'Pick and choose' policy allegedly roosts in office of ZEO Thanmandi 6/30/2015 10:40:17 PM Rajouri , Jun 30: Alleging pick and choose policy prevailing in office of Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Thanamandi, the teachers of Rajouri district under Teacher's Joint Front (TJF), (Rajouri) have alleged mismanagement and embezzlements roosts in this office and influential and blue eyed are geeting choicest postings. They alleged that under the grab of State Government order to reopen the closed schools , Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) by adopting pick and choose policy/ even alleged monetary considerations have adjusted his blue eyed in the nearest schools while those who failed to appease the concerned authorities have been adjusted in the far flung areas. To register their resentment against authorities at Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Thanamandi, the Teachers' Joint federation (TJF) held an emergency meeting at Rajouri on Monday and also have appealed to higher authorities to take measures to put a check on mal-practice. Members in this meeting alleged that some ZEOs in district have been playing in the hands of local politicians and implementing their agendas in the transfers of the teachers /masters. As per new rules/regulations those teachers/masters who had served in far flung areas should be appointed in their localities and those who have served in the towns/cities and urban areas should be adjusted in the schools situated in the far flung areas but this rule is kept aside for the vested interests of some elements at the helms of affairs.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
