LPU opens Counselling Offices in J&K 7/1/2015 12:26:41 AM Agencies JaMMU, June 30 : Considering the interests of students and their parents of distant regions, Lovely Professional University has opened various Counselling Offices in all the states across India. These offices are for easy access of students to get career- counseling and complete know-how about admission procedures and scholarship opportunities available at the university campus. These arrangements have been made for the comforts and requests of the parents. Although all information & processes are ?available on the university website, yet sometimes parents want to have face to face interaction to understand the whole process. The offices are in J & K. LPU Chancellor Ashok Mittal informed: "With the opening of 'Counselling Offices', LPU wants that students should take informed decision. We are getting positive feedback about these offices as hundreds of students are visiting these offices." Navneet with 95% marks has got full fee waiver as scholarship for admission to Civil Engineering program. Navneet says: "My parents are extremely happy on seeing me able to pursue higher education under LPU scholarship cum financial aid program. My parents are not well educated and are also unable to travel long distances.
