UDHAMPUR, July 3: Legal Metrology Department Udhampur today booked traders found violating different market regulation norms.
A team of legal Metrology headed by Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology, Jaideep Singh Samyal booked Puneet Traders, Mukherjee Bajaar for selling packages of seeds not having mandatory declarations under package commodity rules. Also, the team booked RC Bakers for selling underweight cakes and including the price of silver cardboard in the price of cakes. Further, the team booked Janta Stationery Mart Mukherjee Bajaar for selling note books on which the price was smudged. |
