Woman stripped, cam - recorded in Udhampur, one held 7/3/2015 11:38:37 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 3: In a shocking incident, a woman was stripped and also video graphed by five unidentified youth on Friday in a Udhampur district when she resisted their misbehavior. Police have registered a case in this regard and arrested one accused while manhunt is on to nab absconding accused. Police sources said, "A woman (identification withheld) was stripped by five youth in full public view here in Jaganoo area in district Udhampuron Friday. "Leaving her shocked and almost naked the accused rushed from the spot, they said, further adding, "acting swiftly police have arrested one of the accused while massive hunt is on to arrest the four others who are evading their arrest." Sources said, "Five youth intercepted a couple on motorcycle and started misbehaving with the woman the pillion rider on the vehicle." "When the lady resisted their bid, the accused overpowered her and stripped her in full public view, police sources said, adding that even went to the extent of making her video and put the clipping on viral immediately to further humiliate the victim." "Some of the local dared and reported the matter to the police and accordingly a police team was rushed to the spot, sources said. "The shocked victim was later offered clothes and was taken to the hospital for medical examination," they added. Meanwhile the incident has created furore among the locals who term it as a shameful incident which needs not only condemnation by one and all but demands strict action against all those involved into it Meanwhile, a senior police officer when contacted said that one of the accused has been arrested while manhunt is on to nab the others who are evading their arrest. He however refused to share the name of the accused persons owing to the ongoing hunt.
