Bihar youth drowns in city outskirts 7/4/2015 12:00:00 AM Early Times Report Jammu, July 3: A youth hailing from BIhar today drowned in canal at Talab Tillo area. Police have launched a search operation to trace the body. "The deceased has been identified as Waseem Din (22) of Bihar presently staying at Patel Nagar, police said. Police said that Waseem along with his friends went to canal for bathing this evening and while bathing in canal; he accidently went into deeper side and drowned. However Waseem's friends tried to save him but failed and they raised alarm to call attention of locals who immediately informed the police. After getting the information police reached the spot and started search operation but the body could not be fished out and the search operation was suspended due to darkness.
