Jammu, July 5 : Sri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Samajh Sevak (SLNMSS) and People Welfare Samiti (PWS) , Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, called for a meeting under the leadership of its convener S.P Sapolia, to discuss mismanagement of SLNMSS from release of the management from the clutches of the existing trust which was formed illegaly and unconstitutionaly. According to press release, SP Sapolia while addressing the member informed that the earlier Janj-Ghar constructed earlier in the vicinity of the temple, was used by poor people marriages and other religious ritual on very nominal payment, as a charity. However the present management has converted maximum room and hall into air conditioned room with a commercial outlook, due to which poor people, who were earlier using the premises , were not able to afford the same , which is against the principle of Charity on which the Janj- Ghar was constructed. He informed that previous government has released funds in lakhs of rupees through local bodies for the development of temple but till date the trust has not shown the receipt and expenditure of the shame to the public and he apprehended that all the money must have swallowed by the members, without showing any accounts. |
