Srinagar, July 5: The National Conference has hit hard at the PDP for its alleged favouritism in recent recruitments.
According to NC spokesman, Junaid Mattoo, the posts were not advertised and proper recruitment process was not followed.
Junaid's statement evoked ridicule from different quarters. While the government spokesman can better explain the fairness of recent recruitments, it needs to be made clear that the NC has also been in the dock for its faulty recruitment.
The BOPEE scam is still being investigated. That was the first time when the CET papers were put on sale and this happened in the NC regime.
The NC talked of removing the deadwood from the administration but extension after extension was given to corrupt and incompetent officers.
The NC has ruled the state for most of the time and a fir administration always remained a dream. The meritorious candidates were always ignored. This is not a mere allegation. History is witness to it. |
